Can I install Microsoft Office on more than one computer? I want to install it on my laptop and my desktop so that I always have access to the tools needed to get my school work done. Answer Yes, you are able to install Microsoft Office on more than one computer. FAQ Actions. Was this helpful? You now have the full version of Microsoft Office Enterprise , without any limitations, installed on your computer.
You can use Office without product activation or even a Product Key in many cases for the first 25 times you start an Office program. However, there is a caveat: Microsoft no longer offers mainstream support for Office That means you should not expect any new features, fixes or security updates. When it comes to Windows, you can activate it endless times but after 3 times, you get transfered to an agent and they ask you why you're activating it so many times. Basically MS is like Big Brother, he's watching you!
I'm not sure what you're asking here Andy. The license covers three computers. Download, install and activate on the 3 computers. How are you wanting to do multiple activations? More than 3 would appear to be disallowed.
Sounds like you're trying to skirt around the "3" limit. I don't know why you would be doing multiple 'activations' on the same 3 machines. Was this reply helpful?
Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. You wrote, " If I am reading this correctly, Windows is genuine, which I was pretty sure of already, Office Enterprise has an invalid volume license key, and Office Project and Office Visio are genuine. Is this correct? And will Office still work correctly?
It seems to work fine. The computer's installaton of Office Enterprise is nongenuine because it is a Volume Licensing installation that was done with an Invalid Volume Licensing product Key, which is what Microsoft calls keys made up by KeyGens.
This product key was never officially issued by Microsoft making it invalid. The installation is also nongenuine by usage as explained below. Regarding the "genuine" installations of Project and Visio: Regardless of what is reported by the mgadiag utility regarding whether installed Volume Licensing product keys are genuine or not, if the computer is no longer the property of the organization business, educational institutiom government agency, etc that holds the Volume Licensing Agreement under which the product key was issued, then the installations of the software in this case Visio and Project are nongenuine by usage.
Merely possessing the key to the software does in no way confer legitimate usage rights. If you happened to lose your keyring, and I found it, does my possession of your keys confer usage rights to me for your house and car?
IMO from a personal data security point of view, it is a mistake for you to use this computer without doing a DoD wipe of the hard disk drive and then installing Windows cleanly from a genuine hologrammed installation disc.
